About Me
There are alot of questions about me, how I built this site, and why I give away so much information for free.
My name is Robin Radford and I've loved fishing from the first time I went. I can still remember my first fishing experience. My grandparents took care of me from about 4 a.m. to about 4 p.m.until I was old enough to go to school, while my parents worked to support four growing boys. I was 4 years old when grandpa let me go to the lake with him the first time. Grandpa, grandma, and I loaded up the 12' aluminum john boat and was on the lake early. Yes, grandma loved going fishing too.
Learning how to get that worm to stay on that hook took some practice as did casting it out of the boat, while still remaining seated. Grandpa was patient and I did'nt get yelled at too much. Up to this point, I was over joyed with all I'd learned, but when I caught that first fish, I was the one that was hooked.
Since then, I've learned alot about fishing. I'm not a professional fisherman, but I love to go and I love to eat fish as well. I'm not a professional website designer either, but this site was easy to build, because the subject is something dear to my heart. Just like my grandpa taught me, I enjoy showing others some of the things that I've learned over the years.
I'm not very computer savy, to say the least. The fact is I've never even turned on a computer until about 2 years ago. Fortunately, someone told me about a hosting company called sitesell that makes the learning curve straighter. They teach you everything you need to know about building a web site that works. The best part is, you don't have to be a geek to do it, because they take care of all the technical stuff for you, so you can concentrate on writing about what you know and love. As a matter of fact, this is my second web site. If you want to check out my first site go to
acneedu.com.
If you know about something - hobby or profession - and want to teach or help other people, and make some money in the process, you can build a web site that works also. Do you love working with bonsia, are you a blacksmith and make your own knives, are you a mom with some easy household cleaning tips? Chances are, many other people want to learn about that same information. If you want to see some other successful sites built, using sitesell
The list is long and may take some time to load, but patience is a virtue.
I make money 2 ways with this web site, and don't sell anything. The first is google adsense, anytime someone clicks on an "ads by google" advertisement I get a percentage of what the advertiser pays google. The second way is affiliate commissions. I've joined some affiliate programs and placed their ads on my site. Anytime someone clicks on one of their ads, and buys something, I receive a commission for the sale. Both of these ways for making money online, I learned from sitesell. Pretty cool, huh? This is an excellent way for you to work at home and be happy about it. You can do it too, just go to
sitesell
to learn more about how easy it can be.
If you've been thinking about having a web site and have been putting it off, there's no time like the present. Ask yourself, If not now, when? If you don't do it now, in a year from now, you'll still be no closer in obtaining your goals, and that would be a shame. Remember, "If it has to be, it's up to me."
Still wondering if you can do it and have questions, you can ask the good folks at
sitesell here.
