Sour Cream Baked Halibut Recipe

Ingredients for this baked halibut recipe:

2 lbs. halibut fillets

1/4 cup flour

2 tsp. salt

1/4 tsp. pepper

1 cup milk

2 cups coarse soft bread crumbs

1/4 cup butter

1 tsp. dillweed

8 oz. sour cream

For Garnish:

1 sliced lemon

parsley

Cut fish fillets into about 1" cubes. Mix flour, salt, and pepper in a bowl and coat the cubed halibut. Arrange in single layer in baking dish. Pour milk over and bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.

Brown bread crumbs in butter in a medium sized-skillet. Stir dillweed into the sour cream. Remove the fish from oven. Spoon the cream mixture over the fish and top with toasted bread crumbs. Bake 10 minutes longer, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork. Garnish with the lemon slices and parsley. Serves six. Serve with stir fryed fresh garden vegetables and steamed rice.
