Grilled Halibut Recipe

Ingredients for this grilled halibut recipe:

4 halibut steaks-approx. 1" thick

3/4 cup butter= 1 1/2 sticks softened

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 1/2 teaspoon minced onion

1 1/2 teaspoon granulated garlic

1 teaspoon seasoned salt

1 1/2 teaspoon parsley flakes

3/4 teaspoon dillweed

1/4 teaspoon sugar

1/2 teaspoon pepper

Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Let it stand for 30 min. to 1 hour. When grilling your halibut steaks coat 1 side of each steak with 1 tablespoon of the herbed butter. Spray your grill rack with nonstick spray before firing it up to keep fish from sticking.

Grill with the buttered side down approx. 5 min. Coat the other side, turn, spread the remaining butter over the cooked side, and grill for approx. 5 more minutes or until the fish flakes easily with a fork. This should yield 4 servings unless you're hungry.

Enjoy your grilled fish with a fresh garden salad and wild rice for a good tasting low fat meal.
