Grilled Salmon Recipe with Cucumber Sauce

Ingredients for this grilled salmon recipe:

Two salmon steaks, one inch thick

Butter, melted

Salt and pepper

Cucumber Sauce:

1 cup sour cream or plain yogurt

2 tsp. chopped parsley

1/2 tsp. chopped chives

1/2 medium cucumber, peeled and finely chopped or shredded

2 tsp. lemon juice

1/8 tsp. white pepper

For this salmon steak recipe you need to dry your salmon

steaks, and brush with melted butter or olive oil on each

side. Place in oven and broil over high heat or grill over

charcoal. Cook for 5-8 minutes on each side or until

salmon flakes easily. Turn them only once. Put them on a

warm serving platter, season with salt and pepper and keep

warm. While you are grilling, mix the cucumber sauce

ingredients in a small bowl. Warm sauce. Spoon sauce over

salmon.

If you are looking for a good low calorie meal brush your

salmon with olive oil instead of butter. For your sauce,

use yogurt instead of sour cream. Enjoy with a fresh

garden salad and a baked potato for a wonderful tasting

low calorie meal.

This salmon recipe is easy to prepare and the taste is

exceptional. We have additional grilled fish recipes on

our fish recipe page for you to use and enjoy.
