Beer Battered Lemon Pepper Halibut Recipe :

2 1/2 cups flour

2 cups cornstarch

2 1/2 tablespoons baking powder

1/2 cup sugar

2 tablespoons salt

1/4 cup Seasoning Salt

3/4 tablespoons garlic powder

lemon pepper

2 Cans Beer

1. Mix dry ingredients(except lemon pepper) thoroughly to make beer batter

2. Blend 4 cups dry beer batter with 3 cups beer, more or less depending how thick you would like the batter to be. Cut Halibut into strips, slice tomatoes and clean leaf lettuce if you want to make sandwichs and set aside.

3. Dip fish fillet strips into beer batter and let excess drip off, sprinke with lemon pepper and drop into deep fryer.

4. Fry until golden brown, remove and let drain well onto a paper towel.

Enjoy with cole slaw and baked beans for a good tasting, easy meal to prepare. If you are making sandwichs serve with baked beans and fries or chips.
